Due to a pact I've just made with a few of my most excellent and brilliant Librarian friends, I am once again going to start writing on that original fiction I've been working at off-and-on for a few years. I have some new ideas for the wizard character... but shhh, it's a secret. I'm not sure even he knows about it, yet...
And, randomly... my iPod on shuffle is in love with David Bowie this afternoon. My iPod has superior taste.
This is very possibly the coolest toy I've ever had!

Dang, I'm COLD. I hate winter.
I'm inside and I'm freezing to death. Wah. Give me summer back.
BTW, those are the "Rita Skeeter" gauntlets my pal Amber made for me! They are nicely soft and warm! And oh-so-wizardly fashionable, too!
So maybe only librarians would really get a kick out of this. We had compact shelving like this at the University of Illinois, and I loved going down there and making entire shelving units move around. Set to music, it's even MORE fun!!
